Associate Membership
Apply as an Associate Member
Associate Membership is open to physicians and/or scientists who are not neurological surgeons but have shown distinction in a neurosurgically related discipline.
Apply for Membership Today
To apply, submit a completed Associate membership application that includes your CV, the name of a current CNS member (Active/International member only) to serve as a reference, and payment of the required $25 application fee and dues fee.
To apply as an International Associate, submit a completed International Associate membership application that includes your CV and one letter of reference or letter of employment at current institution and payment of the required $25 application fee and dues fee.
Please note that dues and application fees are non-refundable.

The annual dues for Associate Membership are $360 and International Associate Membership are $75.
Are You Eligible?
To become an Associate Member, you must be a physician or scientist who is not a neurological surgeon but has shown distinction in a neurosurgically related discipline.
A person may apply for International Associate Membership if they meet the requirements of Associate Membership, but are an international surgeon who maintains a specialized practice outside of North America that is similar, or complimentary to, those maintained by CNS members, but have not recovered accredited or institutional-based neurosurgical training and/or are without a local neurosurgery training program (neurosurgeons or neurosurgical trainees/residents are not eligible for this membership type).
